The Engineering unit at MTS designs, installs and maintains Interactive Television (ITV) classrooms and smart classroom on main campus. ITV Classrooms are used for distance education via IP Videoconferencing with remote locations around the state. Auditoriums and certain lecture halls are equipped with state of the art technology.

In addition to maintaining these rooms we offer other services including:

Two-Way IP Videoconferencing, Conventional C and Ku Band Satellite Downlinks, 8 Channel Campus Cable Distribution System, MPEG Compressed Digital Video Satellite Uplink, Interactive Television Fixed Service (ITFS), Audio Cassette and VHS Duplication, International VHS Videotape Format Conversion, DVD Recording and Duplication Audio Cassette, DVCAM, DVD-R and VHS sales Projector Bulb sale.
